1. About Ruya&Co
This website is operated by RÜYA&CO LIMITED, trading as Ruya & Co. We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16001445. Our registered office is 230 Kings Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester, England, M21 0XQ. Throughout these Terms, "Ruya&Co", "we", "us" and "our" refer to RÜYA&CO LIMITED.
You can contact our customer care team at support@ruyaandco.com or by using the contact details shown on our Contact page.
2. When these Terms apply
These Terms apply when you access ruyaandco.com, create an account, place an order or otherwise use our website and services. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable UK law.
3. Eligibility and account security
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for the activity carried out through your account. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
4. Product information
We aim to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and screen settings. Measurements are provided as a guide and small variations may occur between garments or production batches. Please review the product description, fabric information, care instructions, size guide and fit notes before ordering.
Products are subject to availability. We may correct genuine errors in product descriptions, prices or availability. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you and offer an appropriate solution, which may include cancellation and a full refund.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in the currency selected on the website and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges, if any, are shown before you confirm payment. International customers may be responsible for import duties, taxes or customs charges unless the checkout states otherwise.
Payment must be authorised by your payment provider. We do not store full card details. Payments may be processed by Shopify Payments and other payment providers displayed at checkout.
6. Orders and contract formation
Placing an order is an offer to buy the products in your basket. An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we have received the order; it does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch, unless we have accepted the order earlier through a clear written confirmation.
We may be unable to accept an order because a product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, an obvious pricing or description error has occurred, delivery restrictions apply, or we reasonably suspect fraud. If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot fulfil, we will refund it.
7. Cancelling or changing an order before dispatch
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We cannot guarantee changes once fulfilment has started. Your legal cancellation rights for online purchases are explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
8. Delivery
Delivery options, estimated times, charges and tracking information are explained in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates unless we explicitly agree a guaranteed date. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, but we will support you in resolving delivery issues.
9. Returns, refunds and faulty goods
Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains how to cancel an online order, return unwanted items and report faulty, damaged or incorrect goods. The policy forms part of these Terms. Your statutory rights are not affected.
10. Promotions and discount codes
Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions, including eligibility dates, minimum spend, excluded products and one-use limits. Unless stated otherwise, discounts cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied after an order has been placed. We may withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary, without affecting orders already validly accepted.
11. Reviews and user content
If you submit a review, photo, video or other content, it must be honest, based on your genuine experience and must not be unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringe another person's rights. You keep ownership of your content, but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display and use it in connection with our store and marketing, subject to our Privacy Policy and any permissions you provide.
12. Intellectual property
The website, brand name, logos, product photography, graphics, written content and other materials are owned by or licensed to Ruya&Co and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the website for personal shopping only. You must not reproduce, sell, scrape or commercially exploit our content without written permission.
13. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with site operation, submit fraudulent orders or use automated systems in a way that places an unreasonable burden on the website.
14. Third-party links and services
The website may link to third-party services, including payment, social media, delivery and tracking providers. Those services may have their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party websites that we do not control.
15. Our responsibility to you
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or breach of your statutory consumer rights. We are not responsible for business losses where you purchase as a consumer, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
16. Events outside our control
We will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and will contact affected customers where appropriate.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers living elsewhere in the UK may also benefit from mandatory rights and may bring proceedings in the courts available to them under applicable law.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, business or legal obligations. The latest version and effective date will be published on this page. The Terms in force when your order was placed will apply to that order unless the law requires otherwise.
